Our Kitchen is run by Chef Andy Tibbs from Poco Culina and he offers a 100% plant-based menu that changes each week.

Our Cafe front of house is usually staffed by Vision 21 volunteers during the week. It’s run by Poco Culina staff on Fridays & Saturdays. If you’d like to volunteer with us please apply here.

Our refill shop is run as a not-for-profit project by Vision 21 volunteers.  Bring your own containers or use our paper bags and empty jars for more spontaneous purchases. We stock a wide range of loose food like dried fruit, nuts, seeds and store cupboard essentials as well as liquid refills like cleaning and body care products. Many of our products are organic. Look out for local produce like Ethical Addictions coffee (roasted in Gloucestershire) and Shipton Mill Flour.

Our Community Hub programme includes free activities like our Wednesday morning craft group, friendship cafe, Greener Together book group, family fun days, sewing repair cafes, cooking workshops, community lunches and more. From 2-4pm we are a community warm space with free WiFi, local information and poster board, instant hot drinks from £1, books and board games. Community fridge coming soon… We also host sustainability talks and affordable workshops (under £15 or pay what you can).

Our Local Art offering includes a mini gallery with framed prints for sale, a range of greetings cards for all occasions, ceramics, tea towels and glass. We also host poop up mini craft markets to showcase local artists and makers. We run a free craft group on Wednesday mornings 9:30-11 either in the main cafe or upstairs in our craft room.

Art Workshops @ Planted Many of our artists offer Sunday art workshops at Planted which are independently arranged by Lisa Lavery.

Sewing @ Planted we have a range of sewing, up cycling and repair skills workshops at Planted. Ranging from sewing repair cafes to creative workshops. For our latest sewing workshops run by Serging Ahead please visit.

Our Spaces for Hire include a craft space upstairs with 4 sewing machines (for local art groups, sewers and makers to hire) as well as a small meeting space. The cafe itself can also be hired out for evening, Mondays and Sundays for meetings and activities. Please email plantedck@gmail.com for details.

The Planted Community Hub is supported by Charlton Kings Parish Council and has received additional support from Transition Network, Cheltenham Borough Council, National Grid and Hubbub.

Please consider making a donation to support this not-for-profit charity project from local sustainability charity Vision 21.
