Transition Town Network – Cheltenham

Vision 21, during summer 2009, secured funding for the appointment of a Transition Town Network Co-ordinator for one year, thanks to a grant from Cheltenham Borough Council, as part of their Community Pride initiative.

Transition Towns are popping up all over the country in different areas, helping communities to live within their local resources and enhancing community resilience. Transition Towns can be considered a key part of developing Vision 21's aims and objectives for the future.

The first network meeting took place in November 09 on Food and Growing at the University of Gloucestershire and was well attended. Future meetings are as follows, dates to be updated soon.
